Fellows of the Nigerian Jubilee Fellowship Programme (NJFP) under the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) matched with the Nigerian Observer have commended the Governor of Edo State, Mr Godwin Obaseki and the management of the Nigerian Observer Newspaper on the rebranded Nigerian Observer.

The Fellows, in a commendation letter jointly signed by Justice Tobore Jerome and Vivian Uhunamure on behalf of other Fellows, commended Governor Obaseki for rebranding, refurbishing and revamping the Nigerian Observer. The Fellows say, “We wish to use this opportunity to commend His Excellency Governor Godwin Obaseki for his visionary and exemplary leadership in rebranding the Nigerian Observer, bringing it back into the main stream of national dailies.”

The Fellows went on to congratulate His Excellency on his seventh year in office as Governor of Edo State. They commended the governor for his developmental strides across all sectors of the state economy and for providing necessary infrastructure for the betterment of Edo people.

The UNDP Fellows also commended the management of the rebranded Nigerian Observer, describing them as formidable force. They also congratulated the Ag. Managing Director of the Nigerian Observer, Mr Osa Victor Obayagbona, whose leadership has shown the way forward in the 21st Century media management, and we are delighted to be matched as Fellows of the NJFP under the UNDP in conjunction with the European Union (EU) and the Federal Government of Nigeria.
