The chairman of Uhunmwonde Local Government Area, Hon Adodo Kenneth Osarobo, has confirmed the receipt of a tractor that was refurbished by his administration after it developed faults and was abandoned in the council secretariat for years.
The visibly excited council boss said he was previledged to test run the tractor within the secretariat complex, noting that with this development, the council premises will be cleared at all times and faster too. “We intend to extend the service of the tractor to assist primary schools around the secretariat in clearing their school field,” according to information from the Chairman’s Facebook page.
The Uhunmwonde Local Government boss noted that the present administration in the LGA places importance on health and environmental issues, saying, “We will continue to do our best to improve the condition of our people.”
Enumerating activities of the LGA since Hon. Adodo came in as Chairman few months ago, the Chief Press Secretary to the LGA Chairman, Chris Enabulele, said the Chairman was currently involved in projects that have direct bearing on the lives of Nigerians living in Uhunmwonde and environ.
