Delta State Commissioner for Youth Development, Comrade Agbatemiyiro Isaac Weyinmi, has indicated the possibility of establishing a youth resource and development centre in the state.

Comrade Weyinmi stated this on Tuesday while interacting with newsmen shortly after the presentation of his ministry’s proposed 2024 budget to the State House of Assembly House Committee on Budget.

According to him, “the youths should be hopeful as the 2024 budget is a budget of hope.” He added that a lot of things had been packaged in the proposed budget and that the youths would be adequately mobilised through the MORE-YD E7 Series, the first-ever policy of the ministry, in line with the M.O.R.E Agenda of the state governor.

The commissioner said one major component of the presented 2024 budget was the establishment of the Delta State Youth Resource and Development Centre.
