Ethan Mbappe joined his older brother Kylian on the field as he made his senior debut for Paris Saint-Germain as they beat Metz 3-1 on Wednesday.

The 16-year-old came off the bench in second-half stoppage time of the midweek Ligue 1 match to see out the final moments of the game. The midfielder replaced Manuel Ugarte for the home side and briefly played alongside his World Cup-winning sibling.

The older Mbappe scored twice in the French top-flight clash as the reigning champions made it eight games in a row without defeat in the league. The victory for Luis Enrique’s team ensures they remain five points clear at the top of the table ahead of Nice.
