… gives multiple awards to staff

Management of Edo State Development and Property Corporation (ESDPC) has commended Governor Godwin Obaseki for championing the course of bridging the gap of housing demands in Edo State.

The Managing Director of ESDPC, Mr. John Zedomi gave the commendation and expression of gratitude during the end-of-year ceremony and presentation of several awards to deserving staff of the corporation.

Mr. Zedomi appreciated Governor Obaseki for providing the enabling environment and afforded him the opportunity to lead the corporation in the last years.

He said the last two years had been a period of achievements through the successful completion of the Golf Mews luxury complex and the massive development of different housing units in the Emotan Garden Estate in Benin City.

While highlighting the impact of the Golf Mews project in the Housing development industry in Edo State, Mr. Zedomi also cited the contribution and added potential possibilities of other partners and Developers in the Emotan Garden City Estate through the Joint Venture Agreement (JVA).

He commended every staff of ESDPC and expressed that the achievements realised so far was based on the contributions of all the staff.

Mr. Zedomi likened every department to the strongest part of the chain, emphasising that every department in EDSPC is very important towards the development and realisation of the Corporation’s objective and vision in the State.

While commending the Human Resource Department for the innovation in prescribing the multiple awards, Mr. Zedomi celebrated every department for their contributions and assured that management will continue to reward staff as the Corporation continue to make progress.

Speaking during the Award presentation ceremony, the Director, Human Resource, Mrs. Flora Inneh thank the Awardees for upholding the values and attitude that earned them the awards and explained that the criteria used for selecting the Award Winners was fair and just to all. She enjoined the Awardees to keep up the values just as she encouraged every staff to live up to the expectations required of them.

Those who received the Award include Mrs. Zainab Adebayo, Mr. Erhun-Osunbor Martins, Mr. Gabriel Imudian and Omo-Osagie Precious. Others are Mr. Japhet Osayande and Mrs. Ihuoma Uche Nneka.

Highlights of the events was the citation of First and Second Reading by Mrs. Inneh and the Executive Director, Arc Bose Idegbesor respectively; presentation of award plaques and different kinds of game, entertainment and carols.
