Nigeria’s record-breaking athlete, Tobi Amusan, will kick off her fourth Diamond League title campaign in China in January 2024.

The Nigerian track queen has won the Diamond League crown three times in a row.

The Wanda Diamond League has unveiled the schedule for the 2024 season detailing which events will take place at various meetings throughout the year.

Elites athletes from around the world will participate in 15 meetings across four continents.

Action will begin in Xiamen, China on April 20, featuring key events like the men’s 100m, women’s 200m, and both the 100m and 110m hurdles.

Tobi Amusan, renowned for her world-record-breaking performances, will participate in the women’s 100m hurdles events, extending her dominance in this category.

Recall that the 26-year-old made history in September 2023 by securing her third consecutive Diamond League 100m hurdles title, joining the ranks of legendary athletes like Dawn Harper.

Likewise, in the 2022 edition, Tobi Amusan set a fierce time of 12.29 seconds in Zurich.

The 2024 Diamond League season comprises 14 series meetings, each hosting a minimum of 14 Diamond disciplines.
