The Executive Chairman of Uhunmwode Local Government Area, Hon. Kenneth Adodo, has celebrated his 100 days in office as the council boss with different interventions in various parts of the LGA, especially in infrastructure, security and community development.

According to Hon Adodo, the journey has not been easy but with God, we have scaled through many hurdles and we are set to break new grounds in the development of our locality.

The Council boss said he feels fulfilled for the projects the council has been able to execute, as the local government has undergone a significant transformation.

In another development, the International Organization for Migration paid a courtesy visit to the chairman of Uhunmwode Local Government Area.

During the visit, the International Organization for Migration informed the council boss about some challenges noticed in the community and their intention to support in providing basic amenities like pipe-borne water and healthcare facilities to certain areas in the locality.

The council chairman therefore promised to support the organisation in the area of counterpart funding.
