Super Falcons forward, Jennifer Echegini has sealed a big move to Juventus from Florida State Seminoles, United States.

Juventus, via an official statement on their website announced the capture of Echegini in a contract until the summer of June 2026.

The award-winning Nigeria star is arriving at the Italian club after a successful spell at Florida State, where she was an instrumental figure to the team.

Echegini made her way to the top in US University football by finishing amongst the finalists for the MAC Hermann, a celebrated honour for outstanding players.

She won another highly valuable accolade when she was adjudged the winner of the Honda Sport Award for women’s football.

The 22-year-old went further to add to her accolades by clinching the titles of ACC Tournament Most Valuable Player, ACC Offensive Player of the Year and earned a spot in the United Soccer Coaches First Team All-American.

Following, Echegini became the first among Florida State Seminoles’ ranks to reach double figures for multiple campaigns in a row since Venezuela’s Deyna Castellanos, now at Manchester City.

Born in the Netherlands and raised in England, she opted to play for Nigeria and was part of Falcons team squad at the 2023 Women’s World Cup co-hosted by New Zealand and Australia.

She joins Juventus with high hopes of continuing her progression in the game and also to achieve greater success in Italy.

Her acquisition will also bolster Joe Montemurro’s side in pursuit of silverware.
