The African Soccer governing body (CAF) has handed Nigeria’s Flying Eagles and the Falconets the automatic qualification tickets ahead the 2023 African Games in Accra, Ghana, which starts in less than 2 months.

The Flying Eagles and the Falconets got the tickets due to their past monumental achievements in recent tournaments.

The Flying Eagles finished third at the 2023 U-20 AFCON in Egypt and reached the fourth qualifying round of the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica.

Seven other teams will join the Flying Eagles are

Benin, Congo, Gambia, Senegal, South Sudan, Tunisia and Uganda.

Hosts Ghana, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Morocco, Senegal, Tanzania, and Uganda will join the Falconets in the women’s events.
