Super Eagles of Nigeria failed to get a win in their final preparatory game before the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), falling 2-0 to Guinea in an international friendly at the Bani Yas Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Monday.

The Eagles conceded goals in both halves and failed to find their rhythm throughout the match as they engaged the Syli Stars of Guinea in a prep match to test their might.

However, they were beaten by their Guinean counterparts who matched them strength for strength and got the better of the Eagles.

The Guineans took the lead in the encounter played at the Bani Yas Stadium through Aguibou Camara in the 15th minute.

Super Eagles fought hard for an equalizer and were handed an opportunity to level things up from the penalty spot after Umar Sadiq was brought down inside the box.

Moses Simon, however, missed the chance to settle the score from the spot as the resultant penalty was saved by the Guinean goalie.

Not deterred by the missed spot kick, the Nigerian team pushed further for goals with Sadiq heading wide off target from a scoring chance.
