Super Eagles right-back defender at Turkish giants Fenerbahce, Bright Osayi-Samuel is attracting interest from Championship side Leeds United.

Leeds are reportedly keen on signing Osayi-Samuel who is Africa Cup of Nation bound with Nigeria, in the January window transfer.

According to Turkish media outlet Star, two Premier League teams Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers have also shown interest in the Nigeria international.

The report stated further that Fenerbahce are open to selling their man for around €10m, with the player looking to move away from the 19-time league winners.

The 26-year-old is not a stranger to English football as he has turned out for Blackpool and Queens Park Rangers earlier in his career, before moving to Turkey in 2021.

The Eagle who can also operate as a right wing-back and right-winger is a regular starter at the Super Lig leaders, with 13 games and two goals to his name this season.

His versatility could be handful for the Super Eagles at the AFCON in Côte d’Ivoire later this month as he will hoping to add sparks to the national side in their bid for a fourth African title.

He was named among the nine defenders in coach Jose Peseiro’s 25-man squad list for the football first released few days ago.
