A Nigerian skit maker popularly known as Churchill has reportedly died while filming a skit.
A trending video of the incident shared on Twitter and seen by The Nigerian Observer on Thursday shows the moment Churchill, in the process of filming a skit, dropped his phone on the ground and jumped in an attempt to reach a basketball net, but then fell and slammed his head on the ground.
The young content maker was said to be a final year student of the Nasarawa State University.
Reports say he was rushed to a nearby hospital by friends and onlookers in an effort to resuscitate him, but he did not survive the accident.
Fans have been reacting to Churchill’s death since it was announced on social media.
On Instagram, @Arikeee wrote, “It is crazy how things can go wild in a minute, may his soul Rest In Peace.”
