Togolese football legend Emmanuel Adebayor says Super Eagles’ hitman Victor Osimhen is capable of excelling in the Premier League.

Adebayor believes Osimhen has grown vigorously and he possess the ‘right attitude and mentality’ to thrive in the highly competitive league.

The Napoli goal poacher has fought his way up to become one of the leading strikers in modern football, having conquered the Italian league and doing fantastically well in Europe.

The Lagos-born striker etched his name into Napoli’s history book by inspiring the club to its first Serie A title in over three decades and won the top scorer boot with 26 goals in the process.

Seeing how he has been able to get the job done and succeed in Italy, the ex-Arsenal and Manchester City player feels it’s time for the Nigerian to move on to England and “do beautiful things.”

“I’m praying for him to move to the Premier League and show what he’s capable of,” Adebayor said on BBC Sport Africa.
