Good times are here again for football lovers after DStv announced that the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations will be transmitted on their sport channels.

The announcement, a decision applauded by many, is coming at a time football fans are eagerly awaiting the commencement of AFCON 2023.

Few days ago, DStv shocked Nigerians and many around the globe when they revealed that it will be a no-AFCON 2023 show due to failure to secure the rights to broadcast the live matches.

Of course, Nigerians were angered and reacted strongly to it, while questioning the company’s integrity of promoting and developing African football on its platform.

However, now the reverse is the case as the Sub-Saharan African pay television service provider revealed on Wednesday that they are back on track and will broadcast the 52 matches.
