The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been confirmed to play against world champions Argentina in friendly in March at the Guangdong Olympics Centre Stadium in China.
This was announced by the Argentine Football Association in their social media handle. They stated that the Argentina national team will be playing against two African countries, Nigeria and Ivory Coast as build up as they get ready to defend their continental crown in the US.
The Super Eagles will also use the friendly to prepare for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying double-header against South Africa and Benin Republic in June.
This would be the tenth high-level match between Nigeria and the Argentine national team, with Argentines winning 6 times, 1 draw and the Nigerians have two wins.
