South African Club, Chippa United, are demanding €2m to sell their Nigerian goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, DAILY POST reports.

The Nigerian goalkeeper has been one of the Super Eagles’ top stars in the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.

In the ongoing competition, the Super Eagles have played four games so far and the 27-year-old goalkeeper has managed to keep his goal clean in three of those matches. His impressive performance has been a key factor in his team’s success in the tournament.

The shot-stopper has also cut the eyes of Chippa United with his impressive displays this season.

Belgian Pro League side Union St Gilloise is reportedly the main Club interested in signing the keeper.

Nwambali’s return to action ahead of Friday’s clash with Angola in the AFCON quarter-final is unlikely after sustaining a knee injury in the Round of 16 victory against arch rivals Cameroon last Saturday.
