Super Eagles striker, Victor Boniface is sweating to be fit for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations after sustaining a muscular injury in training in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The Super Eagles are based in camp in Abu Dhabi, leading to the AFCON.

The 22 years old was left out of the team’s warmup match against local Dubai club Al Gharib on Sunday, and he did not play a part in Eagles’ 2-0 loss to Guinea in their final test game on Monday.
