The duo have had their popularity increased overnight following a drastic increase in their followers on various Social Media platforms.

On the other hand, Super Eagles shot-stopper Stanley Nwabali who won the Man of Match after stopping two penalties from the South African team has also had his fans base increased.
The Chippa United and Super Eagles Goalkeeper Nwabali has in the space of a month, risen to become the No.1 most followed Nigerian goalkeeper on Instagram, Pulse Sports have confirmed.
The 27-year-old goalkeeper has been on the spotlight due to his outstanding performances at the AFCON but his heroic penalty saves against the South African team catapulted him into further stardom and popularity.
On platforms like X, Nwabali’s followers count skyrocketed from a mere 5,000 to over 83,000, showcasing a remarkable tenfold growth.
While on Instagram, Nwabali has grown from 17,000 followers to 240,000 and still counting, just after the semi final clash surpassing even illustrious predecessors like Vincent Enyeama, Francis Uzoho, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, and Maduka Okoye to become the most followed Nigerian goalkeeper on Instagram.
Stanley Nwabali is currently a household name in Nigeria and beyond, as his talent has not only resulted in increase in his value, but has also intensified his Social Media presence making him a National Hero and a Star the world should watch out for.
