The Presidency has said that the presence of Nigeria’s Vice President Kashim Shettima at the Stade de la Paix in Bouaké, Côte d’Ivoire, played a significant source of inspiration to the Super Eagles in their qualification for the finals of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Wednesday, secured their place in the final of the CAF 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), after a thrilling victory over South Africa in an exciting semi-final match that saw Nigeria overcome their opponents via penalties after extra time.
