Delta State Commissioner, Bureau for Special Duties, Etacherure Ejiro Terry, has commiserated with the people of Aja-Bostosan (Escravos), Ugborodo, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State over the unfortunate fire incident which took place recently.

The Commissioner who visited the place of the incident with the director of State Emergency Management Board (SEMA), Karo Ovemeso, the director of Delta State Fire Service Commission, Eugene Oziwele, as well as the Honorable Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Samuel Oligida, commiserated with the people over the disaster which caused the loss of properties worth millions of naira and also injuries to some of the victims.

He said he was grateful to God that the disastrous incident did not claim the life of anyone as the life of one Deltan is very important to the government of the state.

“This also is why we came as a complete team to assess the level of destruction and convey the message of our principal, the Governor of Delta State. The Oborevwori-led administration has never left anyone behind, it is a government that listens to the cry of the people, because the M.O.R.E Agenda cuts across all parts of State,” he stated.

Other government officials on ground also lent their voices to consoling the victims of the disaster.
