Remo Stars are back on top of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) after securing a crucial draw against Abia Warriors away from home.
Remo Stars, also known as the Sky Blue Stars, played against Abia Warriors in the opening match of the second half of the 2023/2024 NPFL season. The match ended in a goalless draw.

In another match, Enyimba FC began the second half of the 2023/2024 NPFL season with a 1-0 win against Shooting Stars FC on Saturday. They currently sit in third place on the standings, just one point behind the leaders with 35 points.
On their part, Rivers United triumphed over Doma United with a 3-2 victory at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.
Captain Nyima Nwagua was the hero for Rivers United, scoring all three goals, while Bidemi Owoku and Hilary Ekawu found the net for Doma United.
Meanwhile, in Enugu, Rangers secured a 1-0 win against Akwa United, courtesy of a goal from Kazeem Ogunleye just three minutes into the second half.
