In his commitment to sustain “Operation light up Akoko-Edo”, Hon. Tajudeen Alade Suleman, Esq has again paid a scheduled visit to the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Okene, Kogi State, to interface with the site engineer in order to bring a long-lasting solution to the problem of power outage in the locality.

The chairman, who emphasized the need for sustainability in the power supply process, said he would do all it takes to ensure that the problem of continuous power failure is solved within the shortest possible time, adding that he had already dealt with the immediate and remote causes of the problem.

He explained that it was his intention to make Akoko Edo an investment destination, where investors would find it a conducive area for businesses to thrive, hence the need for the power supply problem to be given maximum and urgent attention.

On their parts, the Assistant Site Engineer and Supervisor, Engineer Yusuf Yohanna and Engineer Mustapher who spoke on behalf of the Station Head, Engineer Isaac Idibanji, reassured the chairman of regular power supply, blaming the temporary outage on the national grid which they noted was prone to several collapses and systemic failure.
