Famous International Afro-fusion superstar Damini Ebunoluwa, also known as Burna Boy, has expressed his gratitude following the declaration of March 2nd as World Burna Boy Day in his honour by the City of Boston in the United States.

Burna Boy revealed that this recognition not only showcases his musical talent but also solidifies his influence on a global scale, noting that he feels incredibly honoured and privileged to have been deemed worthy of such an accolade.

He further noted that his music goal has always been to foster unity and love worldwide as his biggest motivating factor.

“The goal has always been the same, to bring the world together. We are all so different but all the same! 2nd of March a.k.a Burna Boy Day. I feel incredibly honored and privileged! Thank you Boston,” the Afropop sensation wrote in a tweet via his X handle.
