Speaker, Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Chief) Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku, has commended the state governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki for the massive ongoing infrastructural development in the state.

Agbebaku made this known during April’s edition of the monthly Fellowship of the House of Assembly.

The Speaker, while stressing that the developmental projects by the state Governor across the state, is a testament that the PDP candidate, Dr Asue Ighodalo would bring continuity, especially in this 21st Century where information technology is the key to development.

He commended the governor for the prudent management of funds accruing from the federation account to give the people the needed development.

The Speaker commended the leadership of the Fellowship for sustainability and called on staff to attend more often as it is an opportunity to hand over the monthly activities to God for guidance and protection.

He thanked staff for their support and cooperation thus far, emphasizing that the welfare of staff is paramount to the Legislators of the eighth Assembly.

Earlier, in a sermon, Rev. Igbinijesu spoke on the power of the resurrection of Christ, as unachievable by any one living except with the unction of the Holy Spirit.

The Fellowship, which is held on the first working day of the month, is another notable edition where the cleric called on all to desire to love God, walk with him and reign with him in life to achieve purpose and make heaven.

The Fellowship was an opportunity to pray for the leadership of the House; Speaker and other honourable members, staff, the state executive led by the Governor.
