The organizers of FA Cup finals between Manchester City and Manchester United at Wembley have announced that the tie will commence at 3 pm on May 25.
City and United secured their spots in the final following victories over Chelsea and Coventry City, respectively, during the weekend.

City emerged victorious with a 1-0 win over Chelsea, while United clinched a dramatic victory over Coventry City on penalties.

Similar to last year’s final, it has been confirmed that the match will kick off at the traditional time of 3 pm and will be broadcast live on BBC One and ITV1.

Unlike previous years where kick-off times varied, with the last three finals starting at 5:15 pm, 4:45 pm, and 3 pm, respectively, the decision for a 3 pm start time has been agreed upon by the clubs, local authorities, members of the Safety Advisory Group [SAG], and broadcasters.

In addition to airing on BBC One and ITV1, the match will be available for streaming on their respective platforms, BBC iPlayer and ITVX, requiring account creation.

City emerged victorious in last season’s final between the two clubs, securing a 2-1 win thanks to an Ilkay Gundogan brace, marking their second trophy of a Treble-winning campaign. With their pursuit of the Premier League title in their control, City aims to end this season on a high note.

For United, winning the FA Cup this season would ensure qualification for the next season’s Europa League.

Alternatively, United’s path to the Europa League includes achieving a fifth-placed finish in the Premier League, although sixth place would likely suffice, irrespective of the FA Cup final outcome.
