… solemnizes Chief & Mrs. Ikekhuamhe’s union

There was joyous mood in the household of the Iyasele of Ohordua, Chief Isaac Ikekhuamen, his lovely wife, Mrs. Christiana Ikekhuamen as they celebrated additional and significant family milestones in Benin City at the weekend.

The events, which comprised solemnisation and ratification of marriage, 48th year marriage anniversary and birthday celebration of the Septuagenarian were severally described by many as manifestations of good intent, pure and grateful heart by the celebrants and evident blessings of God Almighty in the family.

Many business associates and friends of the family present described Chief Ikekhuamen as a man of the people who is very consistent in reaching out to colleagues, friends and relatives.

Chief Ikekhuamen was further described as a determined and focused individual who believes in hard work, very empathic and result oriented.

Speaking in his homily during the marriage ratification at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Benin City, the officiating Priest, Rev. Fr. Daniel Iyangbe, explained that God himself instituted marriage and gave it to humanity as a holy gift.

Referencing variously from the Bible in Genesis 2:18, Ephesians 5:21, and John 2:1-11, Fr. Iyangbe said when Adam saw the woman created for him in the Garden of Eden, he contentedly proclaimed her as the flesh of his flesh and the bone of his bone.

He therefore urged couples to work in love and consequently admonished wives to be subject to their husbands as the Church is subject to Christ.

Dignitaries present at the three events include business associates of the celebrants and CEO, Zico Oil and Zafiki Conglomerates, entrepreneurs from far and near, Nollywood celebrities, political bigwigs, friends and family members.
