The Most Beautiful Campus Queen 2024, Favour Atoe, said she would be working on “The necessity of skill acquisition for secondary school students” as her pet project.

“I intend to embark on the topic which I termed ‘The necessity of skill acquisition for secondary school students’, creating that awareness and making them to understand while they need to acquire a skill as a young person before they go into higher institutions. As a student I have come to realize that the university is actually a tough place, most especially in terms of finance, and it’s not every time we have to depend on our parents because what they give to us most times is barely enough,” Miss Atoe said.

“So, if they acquire this skill in time, it will go a long a way to help them while they are schooling. So I intend to carry out this programme and let them know the benefits,” she said.

MBCQ Miss Campus 2024, Miss Osaro Victory, who happens to be the second runner-up to the Most Beautiful Campus Queen, also spoke about her pet project.

“My project is titled ‘Empower Her’. By this I am talking of her self-confidence and her self-esteem. So in empowering her, I am referring to building self-confidence and building self-esteem in girls. It is an initiative to help girls build self-confidence that impacts their personal and professional life positively. I intend to do this by building a network where like-minded girls going through the problem of low self-esteem and low self-confidence can learn from those that have passed through that journey and have become successful women in the society,” she said.
