Omo N’ Oba N’ Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II, CFR, Oba of Benin, celebrated the Nigerian children at the International Children’s Day party held in his Palace in Benin City.

The Royal Father showed his fatherly affection for the children with gifts, including writing materials during the party, which featured entertainment and dancing competition.

According to Osaigbovo Iguobaro, Chief Press Secretary to Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II quadruplets had their moment with other children, school teachers and parents who led the pack, and spent quality time at the party.

Chief Norense Ozigbo-Esere, the Osuma of Benin and Chief Stanley Obamwonyi, the Esere of Benin, tasked the children to uphold family values, hard work and assured them of a better future.

The Chiefs, who represented Oba Ewuare II at the event, urged the children to speak Edo language and promote Edo cultural heritage.

Excited teachers and some students also offered food-for-thought ideas at the ceremony where they eulogized the Oba for his kind gesture, which was warmly received by everyone.
