Chairman of Etasko Central Local Government Area, Hon. Solomon Obomighie, commends the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for approving the extension of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise in all the centres at the LGA. The extension, which runs from June 6 to June 9, 2024, aims to ensure that more eligible individuals have the opportunity to register to vote during the forthcoming governorship election.

During a meeting held on June 4, the INEC discussed various matters, including the progress of the ongoing CVR in Etasko Central and surrounding areas. The decision to extend the registration period underscores INEC’s commitment to facilitating increased citizen participation in the electoral process.
