Etsako West Local Government Council is poised to revolutionize the automotive sector in the area with the development of a Mechanic Spare Parts Village. implemented in collaboration with the Edo State Investment Promotion Office (ESIPO)-Ease of Doing Business Secretariat, the project is steadily gaining traction.

A series of engagements, including a crucial site visit to the proposed location at the old mechanic site in Auchi, has underscored the commitment of all parties involved. Stakeholders, particularly mechanics and spare parts dealers at the old site, have also been actively engaged in the planning process.

The project, according to the Managing Director of ESIPO, Kelvin Uwaibi, is expected to be a game-changer for the local economy.

“We anticipate that this Mechanic Spare Parts Village will not only generate employment opportunities but also establish Auchi as a central hub for mechanics and spare parts trading in the area” Uwaibi stated.
