Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum is expected to include Asisat Oshoala in the starting lineup to strengthen his attack against World champions Spain today, Sunday.

African Player of the Year, Asisat Oshoala, is likely to join Rashidat Ajibade in the attack as the Super Falcons face Spain in their second Group C game at the ongoing Paris 2024 Olympics.

Despite being a top striker in the NWSL, Asisat Oshoala didn’t play in Nigeria’s first game against Brazil, as coach Randy Waldrum chose to start with Ihezuo up front.

The Super Falcons lost that match narrowly, 1-0, as they struggled to convert several chances in the first half.

Nigeria will aim to rebound from the disappointing defeat to Brazil when they play against Spain, though it will be a challenging task.
