The Cheetahs head coach, Gernot Rohr, is confident his side will beat the Super Eagles again.
Benin Republic will be up against the Super Eagles in a 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Saturday, September 7.
Rohr’s side defeated the Super Eagles 2-1 in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier in June.
“It’s another rematch against Nigeria. It will be three more games with them [including the upcoming return match, counting for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers],” he said.
“It’s a rematch against a very good team. But we have gained confidence and we know we can beat them,” he added.
