The Super Eagles will commence their camp on Sunday, September 1, in preparation for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.

The three-time African champions will host Benin Republic at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Saturday, September 7.

They will then travel to Kigali to face Rwanda at the newly renovated Amahoro Stadium three days later.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has not yet appointed a permanent head coach for the Super Eagles, nor has it released the list of invited players for the qualifiers.

NFF Technical Director Augustine Eguavoen is expected to manage the team for these two matches.

Rwanda lead the 2026 World Cup qualifying group that also has the Super Eagles and Benin.

They have seven points from four matches, the same points as Benin but with a superior goal difference.

The Super Eagles are second from bottom with three points after four rounds of matches.
