…partners Wema Bank to give diaspora Nigerians free BVN enrolment
About five months after the Naijabrandchick (NBC) trade fair in Benin City, Edo State capital, which attracted vendors from all over the country, the organizers of the NBC trade fair are taking the fair beyond the shores of Nigeria.
This time around it is happening in the domain of King Charles III.
The brain behind the trade fair, Nelly Agbogu, has continued to announce the UK fair in a series of posts on her social media handle, informing that the fair is the biggest African fair in the United Kingdom.
Proudly sponsored by Wema Bank, the trade fair will take place on 17th and 18th August 2024 at Peninsula Ballroom, Intercontinental 02 Hotel, 1 Waterview Drive, London by 9am.
The fair has so far attracted over 100 Nigerian vendors of different products who are gearing up to bring the best of African products straight from the motherland. The products range from African foods/dishes, African foodstuffs, African ready-to-wear outfits, African braids and hairs, and African skin and hair care products, etc. There will also be master-classes centred on business.
The organisers are also partnering with a delivery company called Fez Delivery and an e-commerce company, Bumpa.
As part of the attractions, Wema Bank will be assisting Nigerians in the diaspora to get their Bank Verification Number (BVN) done for free and their National Identification Number (NIN) at a subsidized rate.
The organisers have also made provision for an after-party where well-known artists will perform.
Entry into the venue is free but it is advised for an attendee to register online for the trade fair.
The dress code is tagged “Flamboyant African”.
