President Bola Tinubu on Monday commissioned the first set of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The buses, numbering 20 in the first batch, were produced locally by Innoson Motors.

This is coming on the heels of a meeting of the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Innoson Motors, Chief Innocent Chukwuma, with Tinubu last week at the Presidential Villa.

At the commissioning, the government said it was optimistic that the buses would help to ease transportation problems, especially in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
