Chelsea has reached an agreement to sign Atletico Madrid striker Samu Omorodion for £35 million.
As part of the deal, Conor Gallagher will move in the opposite direction.
The Blues renewed their interest in Omorodion earlier this week and have now finalized terms with Atletico.
Multiple reports indicate that the total fee will be £35 million plus add-ons for the 20-year-old forward.
Omorodion is anticipated to sign a seven-year contract with Chelsea.
Atletico Madrid was unwilling to approve Omorodion’s transfer without securing a replacement first; however, after a brief delay, the acquisition of Julian Alvarez from Manchester City is expected to proceed.
