Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has agreed to a new three-year contract with the Premier League club, putting an end to speculation about his future, according to reports on Thursday.

The 42-year-old, who has been in charge of the Gunners since 2019, has guided the team to consecutive second-place finishes in the league. However, he was in the final year of his previous deal.

Last month, Arteta urged for calm regarding his contract situation, emphasizing that his focus was on the transfer window.

His new contract is announced just before Arsenal’s Premier League match against London rivals Tottenham on Sunday.
