Mr Amin Christopher has raised an alarm that the life of his niece, Miss Esther Christopher, is in danger following an alleged case of murder of one Mrs Blessing Okomose, of No. 21 lyobosa Street, Okada Wonder land, Edo State, as reported by Gideon Austin, on the 4th of April 2016, at the police station in Okada.
The Police at Okada division in April 2016 declared Miss Esther Christopher wanted who was fingered in the death of Mrs Blessing Okomose, as she fled the country due to an attempt on her life by Gideon Austin.
Gideon Austin who happens to be the deceased son, alleged that Esther Christopher, on 30th day of March, 2016, murdered his mother following an altercation between his mother (deceased) and the said Esther Christopher, which led to Esther Christopher stabbing his mother in the neck that led to her bleeding to death.
However, the police in a statement released on 5th July, 2017 and signed by W/ACP Nna Josephine, of the Force Criminal Investigation Department, Annex (FCID) Ikoyi-Lagos said “On the 4th of April 2016 a report of the above caption was reported against one Esther Christopher from Edo State Command declared her wanted for alleged murder, one Gideon Austin ‘m’ had come to the police station at Okada in Edo State, to report that at about 11:50pm of 30th day of March, 2016 an incident of a case of murder which allegedly occurred few hours before then at No. 21 lyobosa Street, Okada Wonder land, Edo State alleging one Miss Esther Christopher ‘f murdered his mother, Mrs Blessing Okomose (deceaseOkadad) following an altercation which ensued between the deceased his mother and suspect, his half sister. The suspect had allegedly stabbed the deceased in her neck which caused her to bleed to death. The Division has confirmed the incident and had also stated that the suspect who fled immediately after the incident due to an attempt on her life by Mr. Gideon has not shown up to make confessional statement. All attempts to arrest or invite the suspect to the station for questioning has been futile as the family claims that she has left the country, hence the report.”
Meanwhile, Mr Amin Christopher stated that over 2 months ago (specifically in the month of July), the family of the deceased reignited the search to find his niece, Esther Christopher and therefore placed a huge bounty as a reward for whoever can provide the whereabouts of her so as to capture her.
The recent move by the family has shown that Esther Christopher is still wanted by the family and as such put her in danger of returning to Nigeria due to the fact that her safety and security of coming back to Nigeria can no longer be guaranteed.
