The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has issued a stern warning to clubs regarding match disruptions, emphasizing that severe penalties will be imposed on any team involved in such actions during the league’s top-tier games.

This was highlighted by NPFL Chief Operating Officer, Davidson Owumi, through an official statement released in Abuja.

Owumi also stressed that it is the responsibility of the clubs to ensure adequate security arrangements are in place during their home matches.

“Any team that allow disruptions, breaches, or security lapses under any guise or circumstances will face appropriate sanctions as stipulated in the NPFL rules.”
