Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray have officially announced the signing of Nigerian defender Oluwatosin Demehin.
This follows the recent acquisition of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, who joined the men’s team on loan from Napoli.
Demehin, a Super Falcons standout, has signed a one-year contract with Galatasaray after leaving French club Stade de Reims.
The 22-year-old was instrumental in Stade de Reims’ impressive fourth-place finish in the French D1 Arkema last season.
Following two successful years in France, Demehin is set to bring her defensive skills to Turkey, where she will wear the No. 4 jersey for Galatasaray.
Before moving to Europe, Demehin played for Nigerian clubs Sunshine Stars and Rivers United, where she showcased her talent in the domestic league.
