The Pastor of Christ Embassy Benin Zone 1, Pastor Moses Olayemi, has said Nigeria has a soul that can be reached through the collective efforts of its people.
Pastor Olayemi made this statement on the 64th Independence Anniversary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Tuesday, October 1.
In his speech during the kick-off of Nigeria’s Independence Day Reachout World Nigeria with Rhapsody of Realities Campaign in Benin City, he emphasized eight points that qualify a country to be great and factors that qualify a country to be strong.
“Every nation has a soul, and the soul of a nation is the reflection of the soul of the people, the soul of the leaders is a reflection of the soul of the people. You cannot separate the leader from the people,” he said.
Listing eight points that qualify a country or a nation to be termed great, he mentioned economic stability and prosperity, education and innovation, cultural richness and diversity, political stability and governance, environmental sustainability, international influence and diplomacy, social equity and inclusion, and quality of human life.
Pastor Olayemi stressed that points one to seven are because of point eight, which is the quality of human life, stating that any government that does not support the quality of every individual human life can never be termed a great nation.
He expressed that the ultimate joy and well-being of a nation’s citizens are most important and are the reason for the aforementioned points, stating that a nation where people feel satisfied and safe despite the ranking of the person, is said to be a great nation.
On the qualities of a strong nation, he said a strong nation is a nation whose citizens stand for truth and honesty; in other words, a people determined with the right attitude to make the nation strong. He maintained that the right attitude is truth and honesty.
He further affirmed that truth is reality, noting that only truth can be defined as reality, and there is no reality without God, for reality can only be found in the Word of God.
“Till you find God you can never find truth.
“That is why all these qualities I itemized for you, because of selfishness, human beings cannot carry them out, even when they try to do them, and they do them for selfish reasons. So it doesn’t even achieve its aim.
“Strong nations are built on truth and honesty. Strong families, businesses, churches, organizations, governments, and politics are built on truth and honesty.
“A man without God can never find truth and that is why I am honoured to be part of what my man of God is doing,” he said.
Pastor Olayemi categorically stated that people determine their government, asserting that the government is the fruit of the people.
Believing and following the footsteps of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, he urged everyone across Edo State and Nigeria to join the crusade of sending the God-ordained Messenger Angel, Rhapsody of Realities, which contains the Word of God to every family in Edo State and the nations of the world.
“We have declared that in 2024 we will reach the world with Rhapsody of Realities, Rhapsody of truth.
“We know with a copy of Rhapsody of Realities a rebirth will start because human nature has to change. Human beings are born to be selfish, but when you are born again you just suddenly become selfless, you’ll have the nature of God,” he said.
He assured if the distribution of Rhapsody of Realities is done intentionally, it will influence everyone supernaturally.
