The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), in collaboration with Autodex Nigeria Limited, Afreximbank, and various stakeholders, has launched the inaugural Farm, Food, and Allied Technologies Expo 2024, Voice of Nigeria reports.

Dr Emeka Obegolu, President ACCI disclosed this during a media briefing in Abuja while announcing the upcoming inaugural Farm, Food, and Allied Technologies (FARMFATECH) Expo 2024 billed to hold on the 5th to 7th November 2024 at the National Stadium, Abuja.

Dr Obegolu, represented by the 1st Deputy President of ACCI, Adesoji Adesugba, said the Expo, organised by the ACCI in collaboration with Autodex Nigeria Limited, Afreximbank, and other key stakeholders and sponsors, aims to bring together industry stakeholders to foster cross-border partnerships and technological growth in the agriculture sector.

He noted that the expo will foster innovation and strengthen partnerships between Nigeria and China, even as the event will bring together participants from 76 countries, showcasing over 500 exhibitors and expecting an impressive 500,000 visitors.

“The three-day FARMFATECH Expo is an ambitious initiative focused on creating lasting global partnerships, notably between Nigeria and China, alongside other prominent players in agricultural technology.

“With over 500 exhibitors and an anticipated 500,000 visitors, this Expo is designed to foster international partnerships, facilitate knowledge exchange, and catalyze substantial business transactions that will drive growth within Nigeria’s agricultural sector.”

Adesugba said the Expo will offer a unique platform for presenting cutting-edge agro-mechanization technologies and food processing innovations to a global audience.

He said, “FARMFATECH provides an exclusive opportunity for everyone from farmers and manufacturers to investors and technology enthusiasts to engage with groundbreaking tools and techniques that are revolutionizing food production and management.
