The media accreditation process for the Men’s World Floorball Championships (WFC) 2024 set to take place in Malmo, Sweden, from December 7 to December 25, is now open.

Journalists, photographers, and media personnel from all sectors—TV, radio, print, and online—can apply through the WFC’s official website. The accreditation period, which began on September 30, will close on November 30.

The tournament will be held at Malmo Arena and Baltic Hall, featuring 16 teams divided into four groups. To maintain high standards, the International Floorball Federation (IFF) has appointed a diverse officiating team, including seven referee pairs from six countries and four referee coaches representing four nationalities.

Swedish referee, Mattias Linell will serve as head referee, with coaches Jakub Furmanek (Czech Republic), Mika Saatamoinen (Finland), and Inge Haug (Norway) supporting.

IFF Chairman, Carlos Lopez emphasised the importance of combining seasoned referees with newcomers to ensure a well-rounded officiating team, expressing optimism for a high-quality championship in December.
