The Nigerian men’s handball team, coached by Emeka Nnamani, is just one victory away from defending their Africa Men Continental Phase title in Ethiopia after a dominant performance in the semifinals against Cameroon.

The team defeated their Cameroonian opponents 44-33 in a hard-fought match in Addis Ababa, relying on rapid counterattacks and effective wing plays to gain an early edge.

Nigeria took control of the first half, leading 25-15 against a defensively strong Cameroon side. The team maintained their momentum in the second half, with left-back Christian Foloki Bolaji steering the offense. Bolaji’s critical goals from the nine-meter line and the wings played a pivotal role in sealing the victory.
