BENIN CITY – As efforts to get its services closer to the grassroots, the Edo State Geographic Information Service ( EDOGIS) has opened two new offices in the State
A press release signed by the Director of Information, Edo State Geographic Information Service (EDOGIS), Tunde Egbiremolen indicated that the offices are located in Ekpoma, Edo Central Senatorial district and Auchi in Edo North Senatorial district
According to the Director of Information, the agency is mandated to administer land resources in the state through computerizing land across the state
He noted that Governor Monday Okpebholo’s administration has found it necessary to take the services to the grassroots, because of his desire to reduce land crisis amongst the citizenry
The Edo State Geographic Information Service (EDOGIS) office in Ekpoma is located in the premises of Esan West Local Government Council Secretariat, while that of Auchi is at the Etsako West Local Government Council Secretariat building.
