Edo State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr Samson Osagie, has felicitated with the Muslims in Edo State and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a statement issued by Clementina Agweda, the Public Relations Officer of the Ministry, Dr Osagie commended the Muslim community for their devotion and sacrifices during Ramadan.

He emphasized that the period is a time for spiritual renewal, prayer, and self-discipline, encouraging Muslims to continue their acts of worship and charity beyond the holy month.

The Attorney General urged Muslims to uphold the values of love, compassion, and forgiveness fostered during Ramadan.

He called on them to continue praying for peace and progress in Edo State, Nigeria, and the world, fostering unity and harmonious coexistence.

Reaffirming the commitment of Governor Monday Okpebholo’s administration to maintain peace and development in the state, Dr Osagie assured citizens of a government dedicated to unity, justice, and progress.

He therefore wished all Muslims a joyous and blessed Eid-el-Fitr celebration, praying for God’s continued protection and blessings upon Edo State and Nigeria.
