BENIN CITY – Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has extended his heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim community in Edo State and beyond as they celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Fred Itua, on Sunday, March 30, 2025, the Governor commended the Muslim faithful for their steadfastness, piety, and sacrifice throughout the Ramadan fast. He acknowledged the importance of the spiritual discipline, acts of charity, and prayers observed during the holy month, emphasizing their positive impact on society.
Governor Okpebholo urged Muslims to uphold the virtues learned during Ramadan, including compassion, tolerance, and unity, and to continue fostering peace and harmony among people of all faiths.
