The General Secretary, Nigeria football Federation (NFF), Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, has warned on the continued polarization and the division at the ranks of the various groups of the Nigeria Supporters clubs.
According to the scribe,of the Federation, Mohammed Sanusi, ” on two various occasion, Super Eagles captain, Williams EKong, has approached us complaining about the different vicious tones of songs from the spectators stand whenever the super Eagles is playing a match, describing it as a big distraction to the team.”
“Ekong, started, that if the supporters clubs can not come together and form one united body, they should better stop supporting them at the stadium stands.
“During the reconciletary meeting initiated by the President of the Nigeria football Federation, Alhaji.Ibrahim Gusau, with the attendance of all the various security Agencies, DSS, Police, and our legal unit, we made it clear to them that we’ll not tolerate further polarization of the supporters clubs.
” The Super Eagles is the property of Government and the supporters clubs are privately owned by individuals and owned no right to come and support the Super Eagles.
“Sanusi, further retreated the Federation’s strong stance to lock out any supporters group who failed to conform with the new directive NFF to belong to one entity” he concluded.#
