Ahead of the election tribunal’s judgment delivery on Wednesday, Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has sent a message of hope and unity to residents and supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). 

He called on all Edo State residents to maintain peace and order as the tribunal prepares to make its decision.

Governor Okpebholo acknowledged the vibrancy and competitiveness of the electoral process, noting his respect for the legal avenues available to all parties involved. 

He emphasized that the tribunal’s judgment is a crucial aspect of the democratic process, and urged everyone to respect the authority of the tribunal and its decision.

The governor stressed that the progress and development of the state must remain a top priority. 

He cautioned against allowing political differences to disrupt the peace and harmony that have been diligently built over time. 

Governor Okpebholo called on political leaders, community leaders, and citizens to uphold the rule of law, maintain peace and order, and avoid spreading misinformation that could cause division.

He expressed full confidence in the judiciary’s ability to deliver a fair and just ruling, highlighting the resilience and maturity of the people of Edo State. 

Governor Okpebholo urged everyone to demonstrate to the nation that the people of Edo are committed to democracy, peace, and progress. 

He thanked the residents for their understanding and cooperation, while wishing God’s blessings upon the state.
