Edo State pilgrims currently performing the Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia held a special prayer session today at their accommodation, the Amjadal Salam Hotel in Madinah.

The prayers, offered with deep devotion, were dedicated to the peace, progress, and prosperity of Edo State, as well as to the success of the state governor’s initiatives.

The session was jointly led by the Chairman of the Edo State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Mallam Musah Muhammad Uduimoh; the Board’s Secretary; and the Amir Hajj, HRH Mallam Ali D. Suleyman, the Oghieaga of Ibvie.

In a voice message from the holy city, Mallam Uduimoh highlighted the importance of the gathering.

“We are offering prayers for our dear Edo State. We earnestly seek Almighty Allah’s divine intervention to grant success and strong support to our Governor in all the good and beneficial endeavours he has planned for the betterment of our state and its people,” he stated.

The collective supplications of the Edo pilgrims in the sacred city of Madinah reflect their strong spiritual bond with their homeland.

Their prayers for the governor’s success underscore their hope for positive change and effective governance in Edo State.

Throughout their stay in Saudi Arabia, the Edo State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board continues to prioritise the welfare and spiritual fulfilment of the pilgrims, while fostering a connection to the hopes and aspirations of the people back home.

This special prayer session serves as a heartfelt expression of the pilgrims’ dedication to the progress of Edo State, even while fulfilling their religious obligations.
